It’s been exciting this week to launch Walking the White Horses after months of walking and writing. Amazon and Kindle offer such a wonderful route to market for self-published writers these days. But I wanted to take a moment to thank the lovely bricks-and-mortar retailers who have agreed to stock the book. If you live locally, do please support them.

Thanks in particular to Mr B’s Emporium (Bath), Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books (Frome), Bert’s Books (Swindon), Devizes Books, The White Horse Bookshop (Marlborough), The Corsham Bookshop, Coates & Parker (Warminster), Trowbridge Museum, Chippenham Museum and Wiltshire Museum in Devizes.

Thanks also to the lovely team at Visit Pewsey Vale for blogging about the new book this morning. You can read their piece here: Walking the White Horses – Visit Pewsey Vale and to Your Wiltshire magazine for covering the launch of the book, here: Father and son publish account of 93-mile walk around Wiltshire’s White Horses – Your Wiltshire Magazine. There was also some nice coverage from Westbury’s White Horse News.
