Walking the White Horses Book Talk

I am delighted (and perhaps just a little terrified) to have been invited to speak at Wiltshire Museum in Devizes on Tuesday December 5 following the publication of Walking the White Horses: Wiltshire’s White Horse Trail on Foot.

The talk will take place in the Museum’s lecture theatre and will be followed by a book signing. Do come along, grab a glass of wine, and I’ll take you back through the highlights of our 93-mile walk around Wiltshire’s white horses. I’ll be covering a little about the heritage and cultural history of the hill figures, a little about the wildlife and the natural world we experienced on the walk, and quite a lot about mud and nettle stings.

Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets, priced £11, need to be purchased in advance via the Wiltshire Museum website and signed copies of Walking the White Horses will be available on the night (priced £8.99).
