I’m absolutely delighted to be able to reveal today that I have signed a five-book deal with historical fiction specialist Sapere Books to deliver a series of World War II naval thrillers. It comes after winning the naval thrillers brief in the Sapere Books writing competition.
More details on the books themselves to follow, but I hope the stories will allow readers to immerse themselves in the kinds of extraordinary experiences endured by our Royal Navy and Merchant Navy sailors during the Second World War.
It is a genuine honour to have this opportunity to commemorate the dedication of a generation who served our nation so valiantly 80 years ago. I hope readers will join me on what promises to be a thrilling journey with the characters across the five books in the next few years.
