I’m thrilled to announce that my latest novel, In Danger’s Hour, is officially released today (Nov 28, 2025)! This gripping new instalment in the Romulus Hutchinson Naval Adventure series plunges readers into a world of high-stakes warfare in the Mediterranean in 1941.

Following their earlier adventures in For Those In Peril, twin brothers Romulus and Remus Hutchinson are serving their country at sea: Rom as a sub-lieutenant in the Royal Navy and Remmie in the Merchant Navy.

Rom is aboard the HMS Southampton and quickly finds himself in the thick of it when the ship is bombed during Operation Excess. A valiant rescue of a crewmate from the burning pilothouse brings him a visit to Buckingham Palace to receive the Distinguished Service Cross.

Remmie, meanwhile, has his own personal struggles on board the John Holt, as the ship arms itself against the threat from the skies.

Returning to the waves, Rom joins HMS Walker, set to take on the Nazi U-boat aces Otto Kretschmer and Joachim Schepke.

With both brothers in dangerous waters, a twist of fate brings them back together. But will they both make it out in one piece?
